This Privacy Policy explains how Tasseography.org (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when operating our website and our publishing tools for Instagram and Threads.

Information we process

When an authorized account owner connects an Instagram or Threads account, we may process:

• account identifiers, username, profile information, and permissions returned by Meta;
• access tokens required to perform authorized actions;
• content supplied for publication, including text, media URLs, publication identifiers, and publishing status;
• comments, replies, messages, mentions, or insights only when the relevant feature is enabled and authorized; and
• limited technical and security logs, such as request time, status, and error information.

How we use information

We use this information only to authenticate authorized accounts, publish and manage requested content, provide enabled account-management features, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use Meta platform data for advertising.

Legal basis and authorization

We process connected-account information to provide the service requested by the account owner and, where applicable, on the basis of consent or our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. Actions are limited to the permissions granted through Meta’s authorization flow.

Sharing

Information may be sent to Meta’s platforms to perform authorized actions. We may also use infrastructure and hosting providers that process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We do not share Meta platform data with independent third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention and security

Access tokens are retained only while an account remains connected or as needed to provide the requested service. Content and operational records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for publishing, security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance. We apply access controls, encrypted transport, restricted credentials, and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may revoke the application’s access through your Meta, Instagram, or Threads settings. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your connected account. See our Data Deletion Instructions.

Children

Our publishing integration is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the latest version.
